Commissioned in 1960 for FREEDOMLAND Theme Park in Bronx,NY,
The Showboat
began her life as 'The Canadian'.  She and her sister ship, 'The American",took tourists on a ride through American History, from the Frontiersmen on the plains to the Chicago Fire, this was one of the most popular attractions at the park.
